Soft Top Surfacing recently partnered with a Newark and Sherwood district council to enhance accessibility and usability in a public park. We did this by installing pathways and a Tarmac pad surrounding various play and fitness areas. Our expert team managed all aspects of groundwork, including excavation, drainage, and base preparation, before applying the Tarmac top layer. The newly installed pathways provide easy and safe access for park visitors, while a larger Tarmac pad was designed to support outdoor gym equipment, encouraging fitness in an outdoor setting.
Given the high visibility of the location and the importance of public safety, we conducted detailed risk assessments and ensured comprehensive liability insurance coverage before commencing work. Coordinating closely with the council, we maintained strict adherence to timelines and budget constraints. All phases of the project were promptly approved by the client, meeting the council’s high standards for safety, functionality, and durability.
This project showcases our commitment to quality and safety in public environments, reinforcing our dedication to creating practical and accessible spaces for community use.
